Payment processing
Kicksite publishes its US processing through preferred partner Basys: a flat $29/mo plus 2.9% + $0.25 per card transaction, whatever the card type. Adding ACH costs $35 setup and $49/mo, plus $0.30 per ACH transaction. A third option has students pay a 3.75% service fee on each charge for $29/mo. Outside the US, Kicksite uses Stripe (kicksite.com/payment-processing).
Martialytics says it runs on standard Stripe rates with no markup and no revenue percentage. Stripe's published US rate is 2.9% + 30¢ per domestic card, plus 0.5% for manually entered cards and 1.5% for international cards. ACH Direct Debit is 0.8%, capped at $5 (stripe.com/pricing, checked 2026-10-23).
Illustration only, using those published rates: a school billing $5,000/mo by domestic card in 40 charges of $125 would pay about $157 in Stripe fees ($145 + 40 × $0.30) or about $184 with Kicksite/Basys ($29 + $145 + 40 × $0.25). Your real cost depends on your card mix and any negotiated rate. Run your own numbers with the membership revenue calculator.
Check-in, belts and student app
Both track belt progress and attendance. Kicksite's kiosk takes check-ins by name, PIN or a barcode in its Member Portal (a mobile web app). Kiosk messages can block check-in for past-due balances or missing agreements. In the portal, students register for classes, manage payment methods and track belt progress. Martialytics has a Kiosk Mode, grading-readiness tracking and automatic absence follow-up. It also includes a free student app with video lessons sectioned by rank, plus a POS for equipment sales.
Switching help
Kicksite says your first 30 days are free. It also lists 60 days of personalized onboarding with a dedicated specialist, and its in-house data specialist will export your data from your current system and import it for you (kicksite.com/switch). Martialytics offers a 30-day free trial with no credit card and no lock-in contract. Its pricing and features pages don't mention data import. Ask about it before you commit, and see our software buying checklist.
Extras
Kicksite includes free unlimited one-way texting. It also sells website design (Basic, Advanced, Premium and multi-location sites), with no prices published. Martialytics lists unlimited users, unlimited locations and unlimited emails on every plan.
Which to pick

If you want someone to move your data for you and a flat card rate, Kicksite publishes both. Both let you try for 30 days. Visit Martialytics Visit Kicksite
